Today Show segment on Miscarriage

Someone on Fertility Friend posted a link to the Today Show segment from yesterday on miscarriage, in their series "I wanna have a baby!"

The segment (linked here) was, for me, not that informative medically since I have had the full Recurrent Loss Panels done - however, it was very validating of my feelings going through my own miscarriages.

It is an excellent segment for family, friends and those in the medical profession on HOW miscarriage should be handled. My doc is very similar to the doc featured in the segment (and my doc is not an RE) - I am lucky because even to this doc, there are too many doctors out there who either don't have the time to run the testing or are just not educated enough on the need for it.

I hope everyone can spread the word on this segment -- it is too good to pass by.

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to check it out as soon as I get a chance.

I think it was part of those three days of IF/loss segments. I wish I had taped them. They were on my calendar and then I forgot.

Sending over whatever drink could help you see the future/have peace with a decision. What does your doctor recommend insofar as Clomid or injectibles? Honestly, if you're trying with new info and new protocol (such as baby aspirin or Folgard), I'd start with the less invasive. Just because you can always ramp up the second cycle or the fifth cycle (or whenever you feel like you gave the first thing a good try). And sometimes less is more.

WOW I watched the segment and I was glad to see them cover this. I too have heard of way too many drs who overlook or push things to the side that need to be adressed. I wished I taped all the segments as well.
